COME ALONGSIDE TOPICS

SPEAKING MINISTRY

As a storyteller, Christi lays her life alongside Scripture. With humor and gut-wrenching honesty, she encourages others with what God has taught her in 60 + years of learning, losing, and loving.

Refusing God’s Green Pastures?

We can learn to trust God to provide, sustain, and heal in adversity, yet still struggle with an anxious heart. Take a walk with Christi through Psalm 23 and discover six reasons we can rest in God and His restoration of our souls.

A Change in Name

Do you relate to Naomi in the book of Ruth? She’s a woman struggling in the wake of loss and disappointment. Christi lays her own story, and a few she’s heard along the way, alongside Naomi’s, and introduces listeners to a God who fills our empty places and calls us blessed.

WORKSHOP MINISTRY

Each of us matters in the body of Christ and God equips us to take part in the church’s growth and ministry. It’s important to learn the skills and knowledge necessary for the task, but first, let’s discover the equipping in how God designed us.

Giftedness Workshop

Discover God’s workmanship in you through your personality, spiritual gifts, and life experiences. Giftedness workshops include 3-4 sessions of group teaching, individual assessments, and one-on-one coaching sessions.

RETREAT MINISTRY

Sometimes we need to find a way to withdraw from our routine and draw near to God. When we do this in community, share our loads, and dig into the Word together, we get a new perspective. We’re refreshed and renewed.

Dance With the Spirit

The letter to the Galatians teaches us to surrender to the Holy Spirit in a dance of freedom rather than struggle with Him in a dogged march of works. Sessions focus on keeping in step with the Spirit, living by faith, the practical reality of being the family of God, and sharing one another’s burdens.

Trust the Story

The rhythm and rest woven into the creation story reveal God’s orderly design for us from the beginning. Sessions focus on what the story tells us about the God of Creation, the practical reality of being created in His image, God’s rhythm of rest, and living life as a new creation.

Taste the Stillness

This weekend retreat introduces participants to the disciplines of stillness in a refreshing mix of gathering and solitude. Brief group teaching sessions flow into individual practice –and it all culminates in a celebration of what God teaches us when we make space for Him.

What People Are Saying

“It was obvious that hours of prayer and preparation went into every session Christi led at our Women’s Retreat. Her speaking and the time she spent with our ladies one-on-one and in small groups were super encouraging and relatable. She makes the most of the platform God has given her, and any church or retreat would be blessed by her presence, message, and involvement.”

Dakota R.

Women’s Retreat Organizer, Alabama

“Christi’s week in the Atlanta area included everything from speaking in seminary chapel to leading a MOPS devotional, teaching a seminary class at the Women’s Prison, leading a few Bible studies, and sitting down with a new staff member at our church. In each setting, Christi shared from scripture and her life, creating an atmosphere of warmth, acceptance, and meaningful study. Invite Christi to come alongside what you’re doing at your church or to help you dream up something new! You’ll be so thankful that you did!”

Judi J.

Pastor's wife and professor, Georgia

“Christi Gibson is an amazing speaker teacher and encourager in Christ. God has used her story and her life to encourage others who have struggled and suffered. Christi came alongside our church and energized our people with her contagious spirit and anointed teaching. Her own story of turning suffering into encouragement will strengthen anyone who has the opportunity to hear her. I am thankful to call her my friend and fellow servant in Christ. I heartily recommend her ministry to you.”
